Many companies that have had initial success with Scrum are now having challenges scaling it to the Enterprise. Challenges include coordinating the dependencies of several teams; managing resources across different product lines; managing user stories of large features (epics). These challenges are a direct result of Scrum’s team and project focus, which doesn’t lend itself to solving Enterprise wide concerns. In other words, Scrum is good, but not enough. This talk presents how the principles of Lean Software Development can be used to extend the scope of the Scrum Framework.
