What do you see as the biggest issue for Functional Testing Tools on Agile projects? Creating a tool that allows users to view technical automation in an understandable form without restricting the power of the automation, and being able to support both initial exploration of requirements with tests, and later running of the tests as a record of consistency of function through continuous integration.
I hope to contribute through my experience with a wide range of traditional and agile automation tools and also deep knowledge of automation practices. Amongst other proposed discussions, I hope that the group would brainstorm some conceptual ideas/stories/scenarios for tools that could be developed later by development groups. If relevant, I can also talk about the XML automation information schema (that’s a mouthful!) that I proposed on the AAFTT mailing list earlier this year.
