Miscommunications, misunderstandings, and interpersonal conflict thrive in the typical environment of the distributed team. Distributed agile teams, and especially global agile teams, are more likely to face these issues because of time-zone offsets and differences in organizational culture. Global agile teams are not only more geographically dispersed than domestic distributed teams, but they’re separated by language, culture and a large number of time zones. In this session, we’ll inventory the challenges faced by distributed and global agile teams.
