David Spann is President and co-owner of Agile Adaptive Management (www.aamngt.com). His firm specializes in helping leaders and organizations become more “Agile and Adaptive” through the creation of better performing teams, executive coaching and strategic planning. David teaches Adaptive Project Management and Facilitation in Agile Environments as an adjunct MBA faculty at Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah and is a Certified Professional Facilitator through the International Association of Facilitators. He helped host the first all day conference on Agile Software Techniques in 2002 and either hosted and/or facilitated each of the three Agile Conferences hosted in Salt Lake City (2003, 04 & 05). During his spare time, you can find David hiking trails in Utah’s Wasatch and Uinta Mountains.
David has a Master of Science Degree from Michigan State University focused on Organizational Development, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration focused on Financial Management from Westminster College, Utah, and a BS in Forestry & Wildlife from Virginia Tech. Previous to creating his own consulting firm, he was the Director of Graduate Business Programs (including the MBA in Technology) at Westminster College and was several careers ago a District Ranger for the USDA Forest Service in the rugged mountains of north-central Idaho.
