With over 10 years Internet software industry experience, 8 years in software quality assurance, Keith has led 1000+ daily stand-up meetings and facilitated over 70+ sprint planning sessions. Prior to joining Yahoo! Video and Jumpcut.com in 2007, Keith was the Scrum Master for Babycenter.com, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson operating company. Keith used 3D at both BabyCenter & Yahoo! directly contributing to the delivery of high quality, high performance, sustainable web sites. To date, Keith has hosted 20+ demonstrations including the first Lunch 2.0 gathering in San Francisco.
One exciting product demonstration we created and shared was part of the Lunch 2.0 series.
We used upcoming.org to invite attendees (limited to 100 people) and filmed them eating lunch. We then uploaded the footage to Jumpcut.com and used Jumpcut’s online film editing capabilities to create this video in real-time while projecting it on a large movie screen while they watched themselves become part of this video. This was the final product of a 30 minute product demonstration with 30 minutes of filming and uploading immediately preceding it.
UPDATE: Keith and his team just released the new Yahoo! Video site. See http://video.yahoo.com as the final living proof of 3D in the Yahoo! Video series. Now we will be using RDD - Release Driven Development - where we show our work in production to real users every 2 weeks. Successful RDD is closely tied to TDD - Test Driven Development.
